Rabaja– Physical Education Instructor Randi
Topps - Physical Edicatopm Instructor Click here for Physical Ed. Skills Proper Clothing: Your child should “dress for action” on physical education days. Shoes: If your child is wearing shoes with laces or Velcro I will require those shoes to be tied and tightened properly. Inappropriate and unsafe footwear: sandals, platform shoes, clogs, skate shoes and dress shoes with slick soles. Water bottles: In this time of enlightenment, concerning the necessity of water for physical and mental well being, the Brookshire physical education department has chosen to encourage the use of water bottles to help keep the students hydrated during their time outside. The students will be required to have a water bottle for physical education and they will be marked down if they do not comply with this requirement. Any student not having a water bottle three (3) times will receive an N = Needs improvement, and if the student misses bringing their water bottle four (4) times, in a marking period, they will receive a U = Unsatisfactory on their progress report or report card. (One water bottle will be given to each student some time during the first two weeks of school.) Water is the only acceptable liquid in the water bottle. Excuses: If your child is unable to participate fully due to injury or illness, I will require a note detailing the reason(s) for the student’s non-participation. Please be specific: A note reading “Sara” can’t play today because she doesn’t feel like it” will probably not be honored. If a child is unable to run, they will not be allowed to participate in the other physical education activities planned for the day. Medical Problems: Please be specific
on the physical education participation sheet as to any serious medical
or health condition that I should be made aware of or contact me at
school at 407.623.1400 x 450.
